There have been allegations that forest workers opposed the STF. The STF has been angered by forest workers and their families over the death of an elephant. On the other hand, when asked about the death of the elephant, the forest workers were allegedly beaten by the STF. Forest officials detained the STF team for some time. Eventually, with the help of the STF4 team JCB, the elephant’s body was found in the ground. The elephant is believed to have died in less than three months.

Meanwhile, Wildlife Life PCCF has reacted to the rescue of the elephant carcass. DFO and Ranger have been sent to the scene, he said.All aspects of the incident will be covered by the investigation.
Elephant’s death will be investigated.If needed, samples will be sent for DNA testing. The PCCF said poaching of elephants has come down in recent years. The death toll has increased rapidly.
