On this statement of Lalu Yadav, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has now hit back during the ongoing budget session in the UP Assembly. He said that Lalu Yadav finds the Maha Kumbh useless. If it is a crime to organize any event of Sanatan Dharma with grandeur? Is it a crime to promote faith by respecting it, then our government is committing this crime and will continue to do so. During this, he also targeted Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav. He said that Akhilesh Yadav was opposing the Maha Kumbh from the beginning. But he also secretly went and took a bath in the Kumbh.
Sanatan Dharma is the national religion of this country: CM Yogi
What is this? This is an irresponsible statement. The biggest event of Sanatan Dharma was questioned by SP, Congress, RJD and TMC leaders. Is it a crime to promote the faith of Sanatan Dharma? We believe that Sanatan Dharma is the national religion of this country. Its safety is the guarantee of human safety. Cricketer Mohammad Shami also took a bath in Maha Kumbh.
Lalu Yadav had called Kumbh useless

Opposition’s statement is a tampering with Sanatan faith: CM Yogi
CM Yogi, while cornering the opposition parties, said that when baseless rants and false videos are shown against Sanatan Dharma, Maa Ganga, India’s faith, Maha Kumbh, then it is a tampering with the Sanatan faith of 56 crore people as well as India. This is not an event of any particular party or government, but of the society, the government is behind it. The government is there as a servant to cooperate and discharge responsibilities. It is our responsibility to discharge responsibilities as a servant. We will do this promptly, because we are aware of our responsibilities. We have a feeling of reverence for the Sanatan traditions of India and it is our responsibility to respect those faiths.
